seriously, yesterday i was watching it halfway.

were down at Chinatown the other day!

Fireworks and heck, it was raining.
and I got really wet. We didn't get to eat our famous chicken rice ):
Chinatown was really whacked, they had sneakers that korkor-&I really wanted.
They were quite cheap too, Im going back there next week!
We were shopping for qipaos for jerral, and then I kept pointing out cheongsams that i liked to korkor. And then he said I'd look really old.
So he suggested something short, not those long LONG long ones.

There were clothes everywhere, and alot of food.
We bought alot of food, Sausages from this angmor guy.
We bought chestnut and sweet corn and tea eggs, and 50cents thailand coconuts.
It was still the bohemian style there apparently, so there were bohe tops and skirts EVERYWHERE.

It was super nice, I saw many many things that i liked.
Too bad i didn't have cash.
Mom's Birthday is in 3 days time, so is mommy-&daddy's anniversary.
I think i'm gonna spend around $32 in total man.

On the way home, Reality hit me like a big yellow schoolbus.

He was talking about elite schools, branded schools
And neighbourhood schools.

He named 10 schools, which supposedly were under " ELITE "
And if every school, average took in 400 students.
That'd make it 4000 students, and IF right now the birth rate of singapore per year is
Approximately 32 000.
That means only 1/8 of the babies go to elite schools.

Where do the others go?
Categorised into 3 other groups.
Better Neighbourhood Schools, Normal Neighbourhood Schools-&Dropouts
And say 4/8 go to the Better Neighbourhood Schools.
3/8 consist of Dropouts and normal Neighbourhood Schools.

Then he said to me
" If you say somebody in your school is bad, you have not seen bad yet. I've got friends in army who haven't even reach secondary school they dropout already.
And some friends PSLE only 2 digit one you know. "

He was talking about some schools ACSI-&RJC
If you just cut in halfway, like at secondary school You wont make it.
They'll ostracise you, You'll be out in 3 months.
Unless you're damn wealthy or damn smart.

Its like you're alone on a battlefield, fighting your own war.
And nobody's going to help you instead they celebrate when you fall.

Whereas the people from these neighbourhood schools
who usually from lower or middle income families, They are just really there for you.
They'll just do their best to help you, try all means to help out
Cause they're just like brothers and they well.

They're basically very grateful and they never forget.
